Caffeine Free Coke[edit]

does caffeine free coke contain aspartame? No, it's just Coke Classic without caffeine. Ginbot86 (talk) 06:45, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is it truly 100% caffeine free? I know someone who has a caffeine allergy and can't tolerate even the smallest amount of caffeine.173.58.64.64 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 16:28, 1 October 2010 (UTC).[reply]

"Caffeine Free??"[edit]

I would like to find verifiable information that there is absolutely no caffiene in this beverage. My neurologist seems to think there is, and I'd just like to know for sure. Thanks to anyone who can find any info. Thepoodlechef (talk) 04:05, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've heard that decaffeinated coffee still contains some caffeine. So if that is true, Caffeine-Free Coke might has some as well. But the official website does not list caffeine among the ingredients: https://us.coca-cola.com/products/coca-cola/caffeine-free/

Language[edit]

"Caffeine-Free Coke is back on the shelves."

This sounds like an advertisement. Half of the article is about the drink not being available for a short period.

I don't dare to delete/change it but this could be handled in one sentence. Like: "During short period caf-free Coke wasn't available between 2021 and 2023." That's it! The rest doesn't seem encyclopaedically relevant to me.

It's not even proven that it was because of the aluminum shortage. The two sources are weak. This also wouldn't have had an impact on the drink being sold in plastic beverages.

And listing the shop or/and city were it was first seen to be sold again, is also over the top.

Here in Germany the drink was never of the shelves. I can't speak for other countries but if this paragraph remains, it should be added that this specifically accured in the United States. This way it sounds like it was an international issue. KingOfRay (talk) 09:16, 18 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I honestly don't know...I am an American, however, and I only recently encountered 12 packs of caffeine free coke at Vons. The reason behind the shortage I have no information on...but it seems to me that it has been off the shelves for some time in my local area at least. I am sorry if the formatting on this reply is incorrect, my brain recently had major surgery and I am unable to recall specifics of formatting and other punctuation rules. So I am sorry...but thank you to those who provided this information I had no idea that it was more than a local problem. 05:08, 16 April 2023 (UTC) Nick F.
