Canto Ostinato structure[edit]

I just added a wikitable to explain the structure of Canto Ostinato, but it seems to be too big for the article. Should I move it to a different article? Wildbill hitchcock (talk) 23:59, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would leave it here, as closely related. It doesn't disturb the article if it is at the end. - I would add scoring to the lead, because Canto is related to sung music, perhaps explain. I would not repeat the word "section" in the first column. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:39, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What is the source for the comment on sections 60-68 ("In this segment, each section is repeated four times, then all nine sections are repeated again ad libitum four times each")? That isn't in the score, as far as I know. The repetition count is often 4 in those sections, but not always, and I don't know if I've ever heard the whole group of nine sections repeated. You're right: it's not present in the score. Since most performers often play it like that, I'd probably use "normally" or "on most recordings", for clarity. Ron Oliver (talk) 19:17, 24 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
