"African American Jews Sometimes Met with Skepticism"?
[edit]No sources. Skepticism over what? Not sure. Proposed edit: African American Jews have faced difficulties merging with the Ashkenazic Jewish community due to racial differences." Summguy1 11:14, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
- There are met with skepticism more in the African-American community, than in the Jewish community. On the other hand some Jews wonder why an African-American would want to convert when that would lead to double discrimination. In other words as if discrimination faced by African-Americans wasn't enough, now you are going to be discriminated against for being Jewish.

- You're probably right. — Malik Shabazz (talk · contribs) 03:32, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
- Could you become an admin and move the page? :-)--brewcrewer (yada, yada) 03:38, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
- It doesn't take an admin to move it, but yes, I'll do it. — Malik Shabazz (talk · contribs) 03:48, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
- I spoke too soon. It will require an admin, because the target page has to be deleted. But I'll take care of it. — Malik Shabazz (talk · contribs) 03:53, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
removed link
[edit]I removed [1] a link to mahalo.com, which appears to be a semi-useless link aggregator. The linked page didn't have any actual info that I could find about the statement it was attached to. The NYT article given as an additional citation for the same statement seems like plenty. 69.228.171.150 (talk) 04:00, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
