All fifths tuning: incorrect[edit]

This assertion that Kress always tuned in fifths is incorrect. Kress used a variety of tunings, one of the most widely-discussed being Bb F C G B D.

Discussions of his tunings can be found in, for example, Jim Carlton's interview book https://www.amazon.com/Conversations-Great-Jazz-Studio-Guitarists/dp/0786651237

I don't have time to research this properly at present, but somebody with an interest in the page should address this inaccuracy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.53.77.218 (talk) 08:04, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know enough about music to answer this question. I know what different tunings are, but I don't know what tuning in fifths means. I advise changing the entry from "always", which is rarely a good word to use, to "sometimes". Thanks to the reader for this correction. Otherwise I never would have known.
