Which district is it in?

[edit]

Is it actually in Chaoyang District, Beijing? Badagnani 03:11, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes! Chaoyang District is huge, occupies much of the East of the city craigTheBrit (talk) 13:44, 4 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Undiscussed page move

[edit]

Please discuss page moves in the future before moving pages. What is the evidence that "Beijing" is part of this park's English name? Badagnani (talk) 17:03, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"a park located on the site of the former Prince's Palace"?

[edit]

I propose that this phrasing should be clarified. Part of Chaoyang park used to be a palace, but not the whole thing. The current phrasing seems quite ambiguous, and I'd like to to be clear that not all of what is now Chaoyang Park was a palace.

Can we get any source or citation for this claim? A cursory look at this Baidu Baike article implies that the palace was located elsewhere, and was rebuilt at it's current location in the late 20th century.

Additionally, can we add in which prince it was, or what the name of the palace was? Is this referring to the 郡王府, in the southeastern section of Chaoyang Park? NeoChrono Ryu (talk) 02:48, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
