[edit]

It's disgusting that this section starts with the arrival of Europeans.184.145.42.19 (talk) 07:26, 18 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Anishinaabemowin - Algonquin words meaning

[edit]

I would like to add a banner to the page that asks for the creation of a new section. How should I proceed? I would like to learn, then will ask my peers about the meaning.

Thank you!

Mohawk vs Algonquin issues

[edit]

There is a small number of people who are advocating heavily for the heritage of the Chaudiere Falls to be seen as Mohawk. This is different from the vast majority of documentation of the site as Algonquin, but their advocacy can be seen reflected in this article. 2620:22:4000:112:1FFE:49D2:ABF8:78D2 (talk) 19:42, 11 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Company editing of development section?

[edit]

Edits of Oct 19 and 25, 2018, both done by IP addresses 205.233.59.__ seemed to be unethical.

They seem to be erasing anything that isn't part of the company's narrative for the section about the development.

I've attempted to help balance this but there might be some things they'd deleted that aren't restored.

  • The edits of December 12 seem to be suspicious. One of the things they did was remove all reference to one of the community groups that formed to oppose the project (the Stop Windmill group) and other edits gave a more favourable impression to the company's efforts, without seemingly improving any accuracy or adding new information.2620:22:4000:112:1FFE:E4ED:7D06:1307 (talk) 16:15, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No mention of Greber Plan?

[edit]

The Greber Plan called for the dam to be removed, and the islands to be "deindustrialized". Given the significance of the plan's implementation to the area, it seems like a glaring -- and frankly, suspicious -- omission. Indeed, the Greber Plan article does mention this aspect of the plan. 184.147.89.203 (talk) 01:41, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Zibi development

[edit]

Through a university course, I have created a new page on the Zibi development, as there is a lot of information on it. I have linked the subsection of Zibi on this page to the new article. The section on this page could therefore be condensed/summarized. Thank you. RubyC.03 (talk) 17:10, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
