Isn't this song 3:34, as opposed to the 7:22 mentioned on the page?

Doop-Doo-De-Doop chorus

[edit]

I'm pretty sure the chorus is from Blossom Dearie's 1959 song Doop-Doo-De-Doop, which is also used in the "Just The Right Amount of Wrong" commercial. Worth a mention? Myth010101 (talk) 21:58, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Carling Culture

[edit]
  • Can you please explain what you mean by "disgusting 'carling culture'"? I'm not sure many people know what that is. --alexdeangelis86 19:49, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
The 'mindless' culture of the supposedly ignorant working-class drunk male [Scottish] football fans?--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 20:34, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:ChelseaDagger.jpg

[edit]

Image:ChelseaDagger.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Sport Section

[edit]

A section of the chorus is played when Scotland score a Try at Murrayfield during the 6 nations, it's worth a mention Observant Biker (talk) 01:35, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Someone oughta clean this up. Honestly, you actually need to hire some maids to spend a day or so sorting out all the rubbish in this section. It's not even readable!!

How's this? Malpass93 (talk) 12:56, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

German football team Bayern Munich plays this song after every goal as well. --79.204.69.105 (talk) 21:13, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've played it a couple of times when driving in my car to play football. Does this warrant a mention? BrisbanePom (talk) 08:41, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you've got a reference sure why not :P -- Horkana (talk) 02:14, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if it is worth mentioning but it's kind of cool that they played Chelsea Dagger at Lollapalooza in 2007. But then they probably played it at millions of festivals that summer. -- Horkana (talk) 02:57, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
