Law school

[edit]

Chris O'Donnell went to law school? Is this proven? I thought he completed his B.A. at UCLA? Writerchick 05:21, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well as a matter of fact...
"Wikipedia also says I went to law school, which I'm just going to leave there, since it makes me sound impressive".

Alphas

[edit]

I'm fairly certain he plays Hicks on Alphas too. Voice and appearance are a very close match I think. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.110.153.82 (talk) 02:37, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

born in Winnetka

[edit]

there are no hospitals in Winnetka or Northfield, IL. Closest hospitals during the 70's would have been Highland Park Hospital, Evanston Hospital or St. Francis Hospital

What's your point? I have kids that were born at home. Who says he wasn't? Your ignorance is amazing to think that people are ONLY born in hospitals. Hospitals, are in fact, usually a terrible place to give birth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.120.222.234 (talk) 04:11, 1 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, 74.120.222.234, it is your tone and your ignorance that are amazing. The point of the of the above comment is that it is extremely unlikely, absent a citation, that O'Donnell was born in Winnetka. The OP was making the very valid implication that Wikipedia contributors often conflate place of birth with hometown. Somewhere on the order of 90% of pregnant women in 1970 Winnetka, Illinois, would have delivered their babies either at one of the hospitals mentioned or in Chicago at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. And somewhere on the order of 99% would have delivered their babies at a hospital.

Your statement that hospitals usually a terrible place to give birth is wrong. The neonatal morality rate for home births in the US is more than twice that for hospital births (see https://www.degruyter.com/view/j/jpme.ahead-of-print/jpm-2016-0200/jpm-2016-0200.xml). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.138.128.102 (talk) 19:59, 21 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
