I don't know if it is this game or its predecessor, that had the sound file of a woman moaning triggered when your ship enters the gate at the bottom of the screen.

yes it does! its a wonder it got passed through the censors as a PG game.... its a classic! 203.18.181.240 01:28, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yup! Didn't remember that sound until reading this, but now it's stuck in my head on repeat. EmDoubleEweEl (talk) 01:42, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think there were also some burping and farting noises when the ridiculous machine calculated your points after the bonus round. EmDoubleEweEl (talk) 02:12, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

mac os + emulator

[edit]

"""It is not possible to play this game on Intel based Macs, as it is a 68K game and is incompatible. However, it is possible to run this game on any recent computer and operating system using an emulator."""

So says the article. Wouldn't it make more sense to say something like "It is not possibly to play this game on Intel-based Macs without an emulator (a technique that would work with any modern operating system)." or something of the like? It doesn't make sense to say "it is not possible . . . on <modern platform>" and then turn around and say "it is possible . . . on <any modern platform>" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brian Geppert (talkcontribs) 21:36, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've just made that change. -- 212.44.19.206 (talk) 12:08, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanna thank you all!

Hi, everybody!

I'm the dude who wrote the initial "gameplay" section a few years ago. Apologies for the poor grammar in doing so. My brain was pretty scattered at the time.

It is very exciting to see that citations have been added, and that there are other people who love this game.

I have a set of the install floppies laying around somewhere -- two are cream colored, one is orange. They're packed in boxes that I'm currently moving around so I can lay down some carpet in my room, but when I find them I'll snap a picture of one and upload it to the page.

Also, there definitely was an OSX Intel port of Crystal Crazy. It was in color but had no sound. I played it for a couple minutes on my old MacBook Pro, but without the sound effects it was a very dull experience. Anyone have solid info on that port?
