Speedy deletion of Déluge[edit]

hangon A tag has been placed on Déluge requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. — ceranthor (strike) 11:36, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I know this novel in English of the 2008 Nobel Prizewinner and just created a page with a footnote to a major NY Times review. I think this novel will prove to be one of Mr. Le Clezio's most read and discussed.

Perhaps the footnote link should go elsewhere--in reference? MKohut (talk) 12:49, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I inform you that I requested move for the article at J. M. G. Le Clézio to go back to the original title. Since you has shown interest in the article, I would appreciate your input in the discussion. The discussion for move has very a few participants so far, so I'm afraid of spinning result. {{helpme}} I am trying to do a new article on a writer mentioned within wikipedia pages. I have tried to format it at my User Talk page, but it sems I am not doing line breaks correctly.

This is great!....

Thank You!

Now, is this the way I ask for an administrator to post it? {{Helpme}}

{{adminhelp}} I wanted to get the article on Dan Guenther, which is on my UserPage, nicely formatted with bullets, etc. posted as a wikipedia article. Mr. Guenther is cited on other wikipedia pages where he was a bit player. This is his professional biography; a good American writer.

You don't need administrator help for that. Just click on Dan Guenther and create the article. Oren0 (talk) 03:42, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have rewritten much of the article on Dan Guenther, particularly eliminating quotations of praise

within the paragraphs. I hope this moves the article toward--or out of---the Advertorial judgment. MKohut (talk) 18:27, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{adminhelp}} I have rewritten the article on Dan Guenther. He now has many external links to his poems, reviews, etc. "Poets & Writers Mag" is now featuring him. I would like a reevaluation of the Advertisment judgment. I do not think it is that any longer.

{{helpme}} I do not know how to get the sequence of footnotes right. I have two number ones (after adding later ones). MKohut (talk) 12:57, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} I have tried for an hour, checking guidelines and Cite:error and still do not know what I am doing wrong in trying to format footnotes and external links sequentially. Still says Cite:error yet all refs are closed it seems. But first two footnotes--in body--no longer link???MKohut (talk) 12:39, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} Somehow I have messed up the ref signifiers on Dan Guenther's site and do not know how to fix it.
