The English grammer is horrible

What more can I say... its riddled with statments that confict, and other issues, making it hard to understand 143.215.98.170 (talk) 23:58, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

The title danger days being a reference to the working title of blade runner?

Perhaps we should add that the title is a reference to the working title of blade runner, Dangerous Days? (71.12.188.97 (talk) 04:35, 9 July 2011 (UTC))

Have there really been sold one milllion copies?

I would like to know where I can find a reliable source that the album already sold one million copies? The article claims this in the first paragraph without giving a link to a source. --Mir fällt kein Username ein (talk) 20:13, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

The 26 February issue of NME says it've sold 1,216,000 copies (see here]). --Moraleh (talk) 08:31, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

"The Only Hope..." as a single

The "Promotion" section states that "The Only Hope for Me Is You" was released as a single, but the album infobox doesn't. Should we consider it a regular song, or add it to the infobox? --Moraleh (talk) 08:27, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

It was only released as an iTunes single.Supahshadow (talk) 23:28, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
So we should remove it from the discography article? --Moraleh (talk) 00:25, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

Bulletproof Heart

AOL just said Bulletproof Heart was Single... I'm not sure if it's accurate or not. Id look into it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.45.187.98 (talk) 21:42, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

If it says it is a single, porvide the source with the edit. And besides, I've looked into it, it's only speculation at the moment. G₩PSP090+ 04:25, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
I've removed the song as a single, because there is only one source for it and reliable music press haven't said anything. --Moraleh (talk) 18:16, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Genre

OK, why is there no genre in the info box. The band is obviously doing a new sound, so why not label it. I asume it's Garage rock. And I know there this article describe what they put in to this album at lenght and how they made sound, that fine to. I just want the genre to be represented in the info box. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.248.74.129 (talk) 00:32, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

First of all, I hope you can speak English better than you can type it.
There's no genre because people will never agree on one. Trust me. This was decided a long time ago, way before you started your petty little edit war today. People like yourself will always feel the need to put their personal feelings into an article, and there will never be any consensus. Do you know why the main article for the band is semi-protected? Because of this. Because of people like you. Because of people who can apparently think of nothing better to do than to waste people's time with these stupid arguments over what they think their oh-so-special, all-time favorite band sounds like.
And do you have a single source that explicitly states that this is a "garage rock album"? That the genre that the entire album falls into is garage rock? Because I doubt one exists. You cited sources earlier while edit warring, and neither of them were at all relevant in ANY way. Friginator (talk) 03:13, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
I'm sorry, why are you being so mean to me like I'm the problem. OK, I did made "little edits" like you say, but the only reason I did that is because no one will define this albums genre. And please I'm not putting my personal feelings on how I see the band. I just use a link from the main article of this band and use that as how they define they're sound. If you run this article, could you provide a genre for this album. I just want a genre for this album, that all I ask for. 96.248.74.129 (talk) 00:32, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
You are the problem. Why should I ignore that? Unless that was someone else that happened to be using the exact same IP address when edit warring over the subject earlier? No, I'm pretty sure that was you. And I don't "run" this article. I don't run ANY articles. No one does. But there is no point in adding an overly-specific subgenre to the infobox. And there's a big different between "little edits" and blatant edit warring (even after being warned). And sign your posts. It's not hardFriginator (talk) 19:16, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
You're saying I'm the one that made the MCR page to get semi protected. By putting two words in the info box in the genre section, I caused problems that's in the MCR page. The bands page already semi-protect in the past, I just edit the album page. Also I already admitted that have editting this page and yes I did it twice, sorry for doing that. Look, if you serious can't stop being mean to me than I can't hold this conversation anymore. Also I'm not signed in to a user account and that why don't a have signture. 96.248.74.129 (talk) 7:16, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
If you don't want to discuss this (apparently because you don't like being reminded that your behavior was inappropriate), that's fine with me. You certainly don't seem to have a good argument for why we should put highly-debatable subgenres in the infobox. And it's people like you that get pages protected. Not you specifically. I never said anything other than that. Still, the fact remains that there seem to be hundreds of anonymous editors such as yourself who bring this up over and over again, each with a different idea of what the genre should be.
And you don't have to have an account to sign your posts. Friginator (talk) 01:15, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
This is about as punk as The Killers. Alternative rock will do - it's better than nothing, isn't it? It's fairly accurate, and all kinds of shit gets put under it. Awesomebriks (talk) 01:15, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Spanish

Why are there three seperate cases of the spanish being given for a title or a lyric? It provides nothing to the article, seems forced and un-naturally specific (if translations are given, why spanish and why just spanish?)

Done. --Moraleh (talk) 04:42, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Translation from Spanish Wikipedia

Hi, I'm the author of the Spanish version of this article, which is currently a Good Article and hopefully will recieve the Featured Article status. I noticed a few weeks ago that someone translated it to English (something that I appreciate), and I wanted to know if there is consensus about keeping this version of the English article here. If so, I could help by improving the translation, in order that it not only contains good information but also written at least in an acceptable way. Thanks in advance for any comments, --Moraleh (talk) Flag of Chile 04:51, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
