stub

[edit]

This stub is pretty barebones and only mentions some English law. "Indecency" has been defined in US legislation and is a major topic of contention these days. I'll try to update the article soon. Ztrawhcs 14:50, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gross indecency?

[edit]

"Gross indecency" redirects here, but is not actually defined in the article. 217.155.20.163 19:48, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I concur, that's what I was looking for as well. --81.79.29.103 23:57, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

article is too limited

[edit]

I was looking for the moral meaning, as in "so-and-so is a very decent person". That doesn't mean the person dresses modestly or anything like that, etc. Expand? 67.117.130.181 11:49, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Most of this article needs to go...

[edit]

I would suggest that everything below the "see also" section be removed. It's just a list of various comments relating to the topic, in no coherent order. It almost looks like a wikipedia discussion page... --69.69.41.43 (talk) 16:09, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is a long history of "decency decrees" aimed at reforming behavior as well as art and literature. Why is it not covered here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.148.11.95 (talk) 14:54, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal ?

[edit]

Hi, where did the merger proposal discussion go (Cannot find it on the Obscenity p. either) ? I am not in favor, by the way, and would rather delete the page which is already on Wikt.--Caleb Crabb 09:26, 13 July 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Caleb Crabb (talkcontribs) [reply]
