Untitled[edit]

Hello, hello, hello. I am still very confused on how this Wikipedia thing works, hence the reason why I am barely figuring out how to do this now. Nonetheless, here is a list of books, journal articles, etc. that may come in handy for this project:

- Lambda Literary Foundation. Nepantla : An Anthology for Queer Poets of Color. Edited by Christopher Soto, Nightboat Books, 2018.

- Scott, Andrea. "National Interest." The New Yorker, 22 Jan. 2018, p. 8. Gale Literature Resource Center, https://link.gale.com/apps/doc/A527218956/LitRC?u=ucriverside&sid=LitRC&xid=37f21c37. Accessed 27 Jan. 2020.

- Jones, Charlotte, ""THIS SACRED LAND IS OUR SHIELD": Deploying the Sacred in Indigenous Art and Activism" (2018). Scripps Senior Theses. 1206. http://scholarship.claremont.edu/scripps_theses/1206

- Orendorff, Danny, "One day this kid will get larger" (2017). DePaul Art Museum Publications. 18. https://via.library.depaul.edu/museum-publications/18

- Johns, Jessica1. “Together Apart, Queer Indigeneities.” C: International Contemporary Art, no. 143, Oct. 2019, pp. 63–65. EBSCOhost, search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=asu&AN=138861041&site=ehost-live.

This is what I have found for now, but the list will continue to grow during the quarter :) --Adist001 (talk) 21:36, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Education Section[edit]

Hello. I am having a hard time trying to write about on the Education Section. I can't seem to really find any more information other than the one sentence I have on the section already. Any suggestions on what I can do/talk about to fill up some of the space? --Adist001 (talk) 08:24, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Biography Section[edit]

Hello again. I am also having a hard time trying to find more information regarding his upbringing. Is what I have sufficient enough? If not, does anyone have any tips on how I can try to find more information? --Adist001 (talk) 08:26, 18 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review 3/2/20: Bella U.A.[edit]

After reading your page I want to start off with what I liked. Overall, I love how thorough you are when covering all of the artist’s topics from their advocacy to art and heritage to self identity. Seeing how you define their past work to present, the reader can truly get a grasp about who this artist is and their importance as a Native American Artist. You have a vivid description of the paintings as far as their significance as well as the mediums used to reflect that message to the viewer. One thing I’d recommend to improve your overall age is tone. Most of what you’re writing is neutral as far as displaying an informative bibliography, but once you get to the “Advocacy” section, some of the wording could be graded in order to avoid some potential bias of you as the writer. Other than that, I really enjoyed reading this article due to your clear dedication to the project as well as your research. Bella U.A. (talk) 15:13, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
