Mrkrannawitter (talk · contribs) continues to add his link to a KC restaurant-promotion site which is clearly (to me at least) a commercial link which does not fit in an encyclopedia. I'm looking to avoid an endless revert war over this, because that doesn't benefit anyone - does anyone else have any thoughts about this site? (ESkog)(Talk) 00:53, 22 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]

Please don't post any supposedly factual empirical demographic data without also citing a source for it. Just placing a link underneath such data is not acceptable. Please see Wikipedia's extensive documentation on the matter, if you're unfamiliar with referencing sources. Bahua 06:01, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Much of this data (including infobox) needs to be checked. I could not find all the necessary numbers when I was creating the infobox. Also, a location map needs to be created for the infobox. Jrmiller962 (talk) 19:21, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Relocated most of the text from Downtown Kansas City Redevelopment page since there was a great deal of duplication. Jrmiller962 (talk) 21:57, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I removed the link to kcskyscrapers.com from the "External Links" section. It's pretty devoid of content except for ads and appears to be abandoned after not being updated for about a year and a half. If that site were to offer some kind of information about downtown KC, I can see it being useful, but it currently is not. Amoore (talk) 16:33, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Updates Needed

[edit]

Most of the information in this article refers to projects being in process, and on schedule to open in 2006, or 2008. It would appear that this article needs a refresh to update the status on those projects, and the CBD as a whole, as it sits in 2009/2010. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Glith (talkcontribs) 13:57, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The entry about AMC's headquarters is now out of date. AMC moved to Overland Park KS over the weekend of July 4-7, 2013. The following week the AMC logo as pictured on the Downtown Kansas City page was removed from the building. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.73.94.1 (talk) 20:24, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
