I'm not seeing it. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 15:55, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Deepfriedokra: The deletion tag was added manually by a user without new page reviewer permissions. It's clear to me that the edit was done in bad faith, as were the additions by the user to my talk page. CentreLeftRight 17:51, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, @Kingoflettuce: It did look retaliatory to me. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:06, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Welp, I looked at it and I'm formally declining the WP:CSD. FWIW, this page and User:Deepfriedokra/promo have what amounts to my criteria for deleting under WP:G11. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 18:11, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh my apologies,, I mistakenly thought anything that very vaguely looked promotional, even if it clearly doesn't contain flowery language from the user himself and the user clearly isn't related to DAMWON Gaming, could be deleted under G11... My bad! Kingoflettuce (talk) 22:39, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Kingoflettuce: You don't have new page reviewer permissions to begin with. You're fooling nobody by going out of your way to look for an article I made and approved four days ago and adding a deletion notice manually, as well as an improper message on my talk page. Your article was tagged by me in good faith; there are rules on Wikipedia and the content created has to follow them. What you should have done immediately was contest the deletion and defend your position, not retaliate by tagging an article with four sentences for promotional violations, then leaving comments on my talk page. I absolutely despise disingenuous behaviour like this, and would rather have another well-meaning newcomer break all the rules than a malicious one following them. Uh huh. Please quote the "improper" part(s) of what I posted on your talk page, dude. ("Dude", incidentally, was the sole word I "manually" posted on your talk page.) The tags and all were automatically generated by Twinkle. I didn't know only new page reviewers were entitled to flag pages for deletion. As for "well-meaning", I had nothing but good intentions in creating the article for Scott's BBQ. Can't say I don't despise the scurrilous G11/"blatant advertising" tag for that! You stick to your stuff and I'll stick to mine Kingoflettuce (talk) 05:04, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
