Untitled[edit]

I replaced the last two paragraphs of this article since they seemed to show a biased view against Bishop Braxton in his conflict with Rev. Rowe. On top of that, the existing paragraphs included misinformation, implying that Rev. Rowe's resignation was forced after only changing the words of the prayers in the Missal once or recently; numerous news articles suggest that the conflict was ongoing, lasting for at least 5 years. The previous version also suggested the were minor or insignificant, clearly showing the view of Rev. Rowe, but not of Bishop Braxton. I tried to offer a a balanced description of the situation, citing 2 news sources - one that slightly favors Bishop Braxton's stance (Catholic Register) and another which slightly favors Rev. Rowe's stance (Huffington Post.)

The previous version also suggested that the situation was contributing hopes in the diocese that the bishop would be replaced; I retained this sentiment in a single comment at the end; however, there was no reference for this idea. I remember reading that some parishioners were upset about the resignation, but I couldn't find the reference now. If anyone has a reference, it may be worth adding that idea again more explicitly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.95.162.206 (talk) 19:08, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
