Both of the above are opinion pieces that appeared in the New York Times in January 2016. One is by a professor of history at Rutgers University who has written a book about Saudi Arabia, and the other is by the newspaper staff. Wikipedia regards opinion pieces as unreliable except as statements of opinion - see WP:RSOPINION.-- Toddy1 (talk) 14:03, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
