[edit]There seems to be an awful lot of nothing in this article - it focuses on the political alignment of the paper and the original author's apparent dislike of the current editor, and a bit about a decline in sales recently. Nowhere does it mention the awards won in the past, or the accolades of biggest selling regional paper, or anything like that. Admittedly I could do that, but I don't know where to find the references...89.192.157.69 (talk) 23:16, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
My bad, didn't notice the apparent turf war over the article. How very wikipedia. Ho Hum. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.192.157.69 (talk) 23:21, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your efforts. I happen to live in the E&S area, so have been able to catch two other silly changes, made at around the same time as the childish comments you caught. I'll note them here for editors' future reference. Firstly, there are certainly more than three different local editions: I can't prove that there are 11, but since the person who changed it to three supplied no evidence for that change I think it's reasonable to revert. Secondly, the circulation figure was changed to 14,000 - absurdly small. I've reinstated an accurate (if rather vague) "over 130,000" and included the current ABC certificate as a reference to prove it. Loganberry (Talk) 13:16, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well it needs more editing as some idiot has put it covers stories from Birmingham when it doesn't! The paper is shite and is anti-Birmingham.
