Is the top bar orange?[edit]

Resolved

Is the top bar orange? I created this article by looking at our image of the flag, but I'm not quite sure if that first bar is orange or an off-orange (hence the dubious tag). Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 01:07, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I fixed the article. Emmette Hernandez Coleman (talk) 01:55, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Transkei[edit]

This article adds nothing that couldn't be mentioned in the Transkei article Gbawden (talk) 13:19, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support for now without prejudice to later recreating this article if someone wants to write a proper sourced article with more information about the flag. - htonl (talk) 14:42, 17 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support – with so little content, I think it would be best to merge. — Mayast (talk) 20:24, 11 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose We almost never cover flags under the main country article. The standard practice, indeed what is done in the overwhelming majority of cases, is for the flag to be covered on it's own article. There's nothing wrong with being a stub. We do have a source, Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556's PDF.
Note that United States (for example), as with the overwhelming majority of country articles, does not have a "flag" section which summarizes the content of Flag of the United States. Heck, that article doesn't even say anything about the flag, except having an immige of the flag in the infobox; same for Turkey, and possibly the overwhelming majority of country articles.
