Notability ?[edit]

Both Jeff Ballard and Larry Grenadier are 'famous' enough to make that article meet one of the criteria. Brad Mehldau also said:

"Jeff plays in a collectively led trio called “Fly,” and the other two members are Larry Grenadier and Mark Turner. I was blown away by the way Fly played after hearing them at the Village Vanguard last year, and that’s when I began to think about asking Jeff to play with me. What really struck me is the musical rapport that Larry and Jeff have, and their deep groove. They have a long history between the two of them that dates back to their teenage years in the Bay Area where they already were making music together." [1]

Now that alone qualifies the band as notable, doesn't it?

The band is also set to tour Europe in October 2006 [2].

So I'm deleting the notability banner... psuter 12:51, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
