World's second largest private employer?

Is there a citation for this:

With over 620,000 employees, it is world's second largest private employer

The list of largest employers doesn't mention G4S. That page has both Walmart and Foxconn, who both sound like private employers to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.216.64.29 (talkcontribs)

Those two are both public companies. A private company doesn't sell shares. Sepsis II (talk) 20:04, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
I have removed the claim as it is unsourced. Dormskirk (talk) 22:29, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
if people think it belongs in the article it can be re-added with a few modifications. Here are the citations: Third largest in employees, after Walmart and Foxconn (citation), largest in European employees (citation) and one of the largest among companies listed on the London Stock Exchange (citation; note that many companies worldwide are on LSE, i.e. it is possible for a company to be largest European employees, but perhaps 2nd or 3rd at LSE). 62.107.223.224 (talk) 22:52, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
I've now re-added a modified version with citations to the article. If anyone disagrees, feel free to modify it. 62.107.223.224 (talk) 23:07, 13 June 2016 (UTC)

Dakota Access Pipeline

I have heard the G4S was the company that recently had dogs attack unarmed protesters at the Dakota Access Pipeline construction sites.

Doesn't this belong somewhere in the article.--Robert Wm "Ruedii" (talk) 00:18, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
