Strange move

[edit]

Very strange move of the article name without any discussion or consensus. Also removing the entire history of the article. I find this strange.--BabbaQ (talk) 14:42, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures

[edit]

Funny how this is a page about a beauty pageant, yet there's not a single picture to speak of. 200.17.209.129 (talk) 13:48, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

German descent

[edit]

María Gabriela Isler is a German Venezuelan and of German descent, just like millions of other South Americans. Her paternal Grandparents came to Venezuela in the beginning of the 20th Century. Isler is a very typical German surname. --91.65.16.13 (talk) 02:02, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

actually she's of Swiss descent - her paternal Grandfather was Swiss and went to Venezuela from Switzerland (he did marry a German woman though, so she has German blood too), her name originates from Switzerland and she actually holds a Swiss passport. So that makes her a Swiss Venezuelan, not German Venezuelan. 91.65.94.184 (talk) 17:39, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notice about the article deletion of Gabriela Isler to Sciencefish

[edit]

Dear Sciencefish, if you delete the article about Gabriela Isler for unsourced or lacks of the sources and then you will have to merging that article to Miss Universe 2013 article or other related articles about her, I am very disagreed for this decision of this proposal. Apipattana (talk) 12:51, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Note that I don't do the deleting, I'm not an admin. As for merging, you can do that yourself by reading Wikipedia:Merging. Otherwise the basis for her notability in this encyclopaedia is two unsourced pageants. If you want to put together an unsourced pageant wiki, might I suggest Fandom.com - you can pretty much do anything there: https://www.fandom.com/ . Sciencefish (talk) 13:29, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If declared or proposed to deleting this article then it will be giving major impacts to the internet and interests including the other Wikimedia projects related to her because it is widely used sitewide Apipattana (talk) 14:00, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
When articles are deleted (and it happens all the time), any wikilinks are removed, but the text remains. She mostly appears in titleholder templates on pageant titleholder pages (which are usually unsourced). For example look at
many individuals are not wikilinked. Other links will have references attached, anyone interested will click the ref and read about it there. There is going to be no major impact on the internet, and IMO little if any impact on interests. Sciencefish (talk) 14:25, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think you should tell the administrators or page movers to merging and redirecting this article to Miss Universe 2013 should be better instead of the deleting out of this article because it is not quite notable anymore Apipattana (talk) 16:28, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't any special powers on wikipedia, I'm just an editor, you can do this yourself. Sciencefish (talk) 16:42, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am redirected this article page to Miss Universe 2013 until further notice Apipattana (talk) 05:01, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
