Died at The Savoy?[edit]

It says in the article that he died at The Savoy - how is this possible, it says that the hotel opened in 1889. How could he die at a hotel that did not exist at the time? 98.223.201.119 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 08:38, 21 April 2009 (UTC).[reply]

The Savoy is the historical name for the site itself, not just the hotel. At the time of George Clifford's death, The Savoy was a hospital for the needy poor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Butcherscross (talkcontribs) 16:17, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Recently the file File:George Clifford, 3rd Earl of Cumberland by Nicholas Hilliard.jpg (right) was uploaded and it appears to be relevant to this article and not currently used by it. If you're interested and think it would be a useful addition, please feel free to include it. Dcoetzee 13:07, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The image is after the minitaure by Hilliard but not by him; I will see if I can find more detail to make it relevant. I have corrected the file name to File:George Clifford 3rd Earl of Cumberland after Nicholas Hilliard.jpg. - PKM (talk) 02:56, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
