Is the text stolen from http://www.songwritershalloffame.org/exhibit_home_page.asp?exhibitId=189 ???

no, brother - it is copied from Public Domain.
You're wrong. If you go to the Song Writers' Hall of Fame link and then click Acknowledgements you will see that their text is based on copyrighted sources. Hence we cannot reproduce it here. I've reverted to the last non-copyright violating version. Flyingtoaster1337 00:28, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one article was rated and this bot brought all the other ratings up to at least that level. BetacommandBot 16:16, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is the consensus on removing the "citation needed" banner in the "Career" section of this article? I've added several solid sources to back up the text, including Root's own autobiography. I believe there is enough documentation to remove this banner now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ccastle15 (talkcontribs) 23:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
