use[edit]

"In Rex v. Sigsworth (1935; Ch 89) the court decided that a son who had murdered his mother could not inherit her estate under s.46 of the Administration of Estates Act (1925), even though there was only one literal interpretation of the word "issue" used in s.46."

im not seeing how the meaning of the word 'issue' was relevent to the case -- can someone who knows about it explain, please? --Dak 07:40, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Adler v George / Narrow v Wide[edit]

Wikipedia Precedent describes Adler v George as a Narrow Method application of Golden Rule. Yet here it is presented as "The leading case on the wider approach"! Naytz (talk) 03:08, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well spotted. I have corrected the text in Precedent. --MichaelMaggs (talk) 16:17, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Article Evaluation[edit]

The court cases that were used to support the article were dated back to the 1800's. In this case, improvement of this article would possibly be to include contemporary court cases that utilize the Golden Rule.https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Golden_rule_(law)&action=edit&section=new — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andersonbriana4 (talkcontribs) 21:52, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
