The info on the multiplayer patch is wrong. I installed it yesterday and successfully connected to 4 servers, I am editing this information because as of 10/22/2013 installing the multiplayer patch works just fine. Also, i have played a 2vs2 on one of these servers, i honestly think the information should be corrected or removed as this game is not dead. The multiplayer section is misleading dying yes, but considering i played a successful match yesterday dead is not this game.24.153.118.218 (talk) 07:09, 22 October 2013 (UTC) 24.153.118.218 (talk) 07:03, 22 October 2013 (UTC) No such word as "videogame". Please separate them into two words. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.214.112.124 (talkcontribs) 12:02, 29 December 2005)[reply]

I believe wikipedia tends to use "computer game", e.g. Hitman (computer game) - if there are no objections, I will move to Gunman (computer game) --Lox (t,c) 22:28, 3 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to mention that, if you own the retail version of Half-Life, this works just fine as a mod if you simply copy the gunman folder into your HL directory. That gives you the benefits of the engine updates. Using that knowledge, we (the WON2 guys--hey, someone made a page for us) decided to release an unofficial 'patch' for the one or two people who asked us for it and somehow couldn't find a copy of Half-Life. It's still being tested, but it'll probably be released by the time someone reads this comment. But since I have a natural bias due to my position, it wouldn't be appropriate for me to add this into the page. 4.224.234.110 17:03, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I worked at Staples (office products) when the game came out, but rather quickly we returned all unsold boxes to the company. Anyone has info on A) has the game been taken off the shelves and B) why is that... poor sales? legal problems with use of engine? too many bugs?

Gunman Chronicles did not sell very well from what I remember due to mediocre ratings. I actually purchased the game and while it was not a bad game, it was not a very memorable one such as Half Life. I only played through it once unlike Half life which I might have played through a dozen times or so. Thaddeusw (talk) 01:04, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Valve Task Force Re-vitalization[edit]

Attention, all contributors to the Valve Task Force and the articles it constitutes!
I am here to announce that I will be re-vitalizing the Valve Task Force, aimed at universally improving articles constituting Valve Corporation, their employees, associates and products. This specific task force has been dormant for quite some time and with two very notable releases coming out this year, I feel like this is the appropriate time to re-stimulate the general aim of this group. For those who are not already members of the Valve Task Force, feel free to add your name to our members list and contribute to whatever articles you feel your contributions may prove beneficial for. Valve, its products and notable employees have proven to be essential to the progression of the video game industry, so I'd like to make a call of arms for this cause. Content Errors[edit]

Can somebody correct the content errors or I shall do so myself. For example; "Despite the Archer and the AI's best efforts, the Xenomes manage to destroy most of the counter-space anchors that keep the moon from falling to the planet below"

The Xenomes didn't destroy all of them, Archer also helped destroy them. They were also "Kata-space" Anchors, not "Counter-space" anchors.
