Streetwise

[edit]

Is it possible for us to get an image of Guy from Streetwise in this topic (since both Cody and Mike have their FFSW images in their respective topics)? The S 17:55, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Guy.JPG

[edit]

Image:Guy.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:24, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tag for clean-up

[edit]

Couldn't help but observe lots of typos and grammar errors in the first sections of this article. Could this article be tagged for clean-up? 21:52, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit]

Removed three picture links in the main article sections because they were redundant and out of place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by White Mage Cid (talkcontribs) 08:55, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Changed flags

[edit]

Due to the article now citing a couple of references towards the bottom, I changed flags from {{Unreferenced}} to {{Referenced}} -Alan 24.184.184.130 (talk) 03:17, 9 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good source

Using non-canon media as a basis for adding categories.

[edit]

As I've said already, I don't think it's right or accurate to list Guy as a criminal in the categories, especially since this was only the case in a spin-off. I don't see why my example with Dhalsim was bad because it wasn't in a game, and I don't see how Capcom publishing Streetwise has anything to do with the category belonging there. TheStickMan[✆Talk] 18:06, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you have suddenly a problem now? He's been in "fictional gangsters" for a longest time. (In fact, he still is.) --Niemti (talk) 15:48, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Because I never noticed that it was there before. Now that I have, I think it should go. TheStickMan[✆Talk] 16:56, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Year-old vandalism is vandalism. Similarly, year-old mis-categorization is mis-categorization. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 12:34, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
So is it, say, a "mis-categorization" for Spider-Man to be black in some recent reboot comics (the same media)? --Niemti (talk) 14:07, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really care. All I know is that you bringing up that he waited so long to acknowledge the problem, even though there's no statute of limitations to where the category gets to remain permanently. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 14:58, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
So you know wrong, because I noted he removed this category while the other one was always ignored by him (and everyone) and he still ignored it then. --Niemti (talk) 16:21, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
He has no obligation to notice it. No amount of time passed makes a category more acceptable. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 20:05, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so I didn't notice both the criminal and gang member category. I'm sorry. I still think either don't belong, per what I have already said in this talk page and in my edit summaries. TheStickMan[✆Talk] 17:03, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it's a huge issue so I'm going to give you this one. --Niemti (talk) 17:13, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't think it was a huge issue either so... OK, then. TheStickMan[✆Talk] 17:53, 14 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Guy (Final Fight). Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

  • Attempted to fix sourcing for //www2.geestore.com/sf15th2/sf15rank/ninkichara.html

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
