Untitled[edit]

This was on the pre-move "Hampton Loade station" article, written by another editor, and is reproduced exactly here:

The station is served by volunteer station master Mr. S. Dockerty and his volunteer Assistant Station Master Mr. R. Dodd, both appointed in 1999. Mr. Fred Hughes is Chief Booking Clerk heading the platform and booking office staff. Fred is a legendary railwayman with over 40 years BR service from 1952-1993 under his belt. Fred latterly rose to the positon of senior Guard working HST's, starting off as a Porter at Kings Norton in 1952 after national service in Singapore and at home. Fred is a mind of old tales, recalling many stories of days when he was working for BR. Frederick is affectionally called 'The Minx' by the station staff. Photo's of Fred can be seen at this link

It's not really encyclopedic, but I didn't want to lose it altogether, so I'm putting it here. Loganberry (Talk) 17:20, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I do not know how current this is - I have copied it here not having removed it but flagging up to those who know the SVR in 2021 how current the names are. To take account of possible changes, it might be better to refer to the employed postholders by their job titles.@
The current Station Master is Lee Whittaker and the Assistant Station Master position is currently vacant. Retired railwayman Fred Hughes is Chief Booking Clerk. The station is operated entirely by a volunteer workforce.

Severn Valley Limited[edit]

" This is because their would be problems with finding a "path" for the service if it stopped at the station. The train stops at the station during all other timetables the railway operates except the railways "Festive Season Service", during this timetable the train also dosn't stop at the station. "

Irrelevant to the article's subject, unsourced, poorly written and factually incorrect. Please don't put it back on again. WaltTFB (talk) 09:19, 1 May 2010 (UTC) Sorry for any trouble I might have caused.[reply]
