Spam warning

[edit]

Sorry I don't know Wikipedia better, but this article should be checked for vandalism. The spammer may have changed it to make it match the scam more closely. Also, Wikipedia should have a quick-response mechanism to cut such spammers off at their knees. It would probably be sufficient if the warning were added for a day or two and was automatically removed. However, if they want to get fancy about it, maybe they could add a tool to compare the scam to the article and look for vandalism around the matching sections... The spammers don't care how much of Wikipedia's reputation they destroy, if only they can con one more sucker. Shanen (talk) 07:21, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Serious Concerns about the need for a CSO infobox and other embellishments

[edit]

I don't see the rationale for an Chief Security Officer Infobox addition to this article. Most Wikipedia articles with Infoboxes are for positions (not people) with undisputed notability such as Country leaders, sovereigns, CEOs etc. I think the test for notability for the CSO Infobox rests on whether we can identify the CSOs who preceded Al Mustapha and after. So why the need for an Infobox for the office? The subject is already notable considering the notoriety he received however I fail to see why a CSO infobox is needed. I will address embellishments at a later time Kunkuru (talk) 23:51, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
