Prod[edit]

Hotwire is a well known travel site - they constantly have ads on TV and are similar to Priceline. It is notable. Removed some of the advertising and the prod. Will work to expand it later. --Shortfuse 15:06, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

agreed. The article was tagged with {{db-advert}} which I also removed. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 05:27, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A reference for the nonrefundable statement could be found in the customer care section on Hotwire's website. I'd put it in myself but I know virtually no wiki syntax. But if anyone would like to do that, yeah. - Nightfighter89 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 07:12, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hotwire misleading customers[edit]

I'm strongly not recommending using them. From time to time, and you never know when, they publish a great deal for Hotel (like 71% discount)and when you take the deal you find out that they ripped you, and you actually got a bad deal with hotel with formal value is the around the amount that you pay using Hotwire. Inferior hotel that you would never have chosen at first, and just because their false, an incorrect information you've selected this deal. When, after that, you will try to contact them and explain their mistake and your claim, you will probably going to get a formal 'copy & paste' responses from their customer care, which none of them will answer to your claim about their false and incorrect information which cause you to choose and to stuck with Inferior hotel...

Don't repeat my mistake!
