Team 3D and British Invasion descriptions insanely long and needless. Someone please correct them to something more sane, such as just "Won on TNA IMPACT, NJPW recognized the change on _date_". (Which doesn't mean they held the belt for any shorter.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.185.250.38 (talk) 00:59, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

IWGP Tag Team ChampionshipIWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship – The most commonly referred to and the official name e.g. The IWGP Heavyweight Championship isn't called solely the "IWGP Championship" because of the existence of the Junior Heavyweight version of the championship - the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. The same goes for the IWGP Tag Team Championship because of the existence of the Junior Heavyweight version of the championship - the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. The word "Heavyweight" should be included. D4K074J03 (talk) 18:46, 17 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Question is this request made because the Heavywight word is part of the common name? Or just because there is also a jr tag? Sounds like it is base on the logic of "well there is a jr taf title so this should be "heavyweight"? Which to me is not a legit reason to move it.  MPJ-DK  16:13, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose That's not the name of the title. It is used on extremely rare occasions, but 99% of the time the word "heavyweight" is not included in the name of the title, not in English nor in Japanese. Trying to claim that it is commonly referred to by this name is just false. The Ozzy Mandias (talk) 17:31, 18 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose The first sentence is a lie. It's not commonly referred as IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and the official name is IWGP Tag Team Champion. The "Heavyweight" part it's just used by ROH and TNA. It's like calling the Megachampionship the Mexican Championship just because TNA used that name. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 12:45, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
