I oughta burst out of my comfort zone once in a while and learn about something new. In particular, I have a strong inclination for manga over Western comics, so this fits the bill.   • First off, this isn't a requirement, but could you provide a panel to show off the art style, perhaps some more of the characters? The cover doesn't reveal a whole lot.
    • I was considering doing something like in Ed the Happy Clown, but I wasn't sure where the line was for too many fair use images. I might scan something, because I don't like the examples I see in Google Images. Curly Turkey ¡gobble! 06:16, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Do you happen to have the dates of the magazine issues' releases? You know, for further specificity?
  • The FUR is fine for GA, but beef it up if you're aiming higher.
  • Somehow I assume "thoughtballoonists" as it appears isn't what you were trying to link to.
    • Crap—I should've archived it. The site's been taken down. I should've foreseen that, as it stopped being active after the maintainers were hired at The Comics Journal's site.   • Is there a category for "books about schizophrenia" or something? Maybe mental illness in general? Might be appropriate.
  • The references are exceptionally neat and well formatted. I don't normally call out positives, but this deserves it.

  • "As a result, he has a hard time bringing himself to use such language" - Does he ever swear? If so, what happens?
    • He is tricked into swearing once in the book, but none of the sources mention it, and it's not an important plot point.   • "He draws her a picture of a skeleton signifying Chet reaching for a bird signifying Sky." - awkward; you can just replace "Chet" with "himself" and "Sky" with "her".
    • I replaced "CHet" with "himself", but switiching in "her" for "Sky" sounded strange to me. Curly Turkey ¡gobble! 23:13, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • "when Connie asks Chet to the movies" - romantically? Just to be clear, does this make three girls with the hots for Chet?
    • It's not clear---it's one of those thing that's left up to the reader to figure out. For instance, it's pretty clear that Connie knows her sister likes him, and I think this scene comes after Chet declares his love for Sky. Curly Turkey ¡gobble! 23:13, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Her schizophrenic" - her schizophrenia? Her being a schizophrenic?
  • "he speaks no French" - obviously I don't have access to the source and you do, but this seems like quite a bold claim - I mean, he's constantly surrounded by French-speaking people and probably had to learn it in school at some point. Even I don't speak no French; I took it for two years in middle school so I can still understand it a bit. Maybe "he does not speak French fluently" or simply "he does not speak French"? Or is it that he simply doesn't use French, even though he can?
    • I think he meant to say he is unable to communicate in French, so I've changed it to "he does not speak French". I changed the source to one where he's more explicit about his monoliguality. Curly Turkey ¡gobble! 23:13, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • "absent in the story are sex and drugs" - I'd switch the two parts on either side of the word "are"
  • "than in Brown's earlier work" - how about "than in his"?
