  • Article long and new enough, and hook verifiable without significant signs of copyvio. QPQ is actually not needed as this is the user's 4th DYK - but their call. A little concerned about the hook's relatively mundane tone, but I suppose it's as good as it gets. @JamieF: maybe mention food desert somewhere in the hook? • Thanks @Juxlos: I made a slight modification - and good point.

Created major update

[edit]

This article was previously outdated and misleading. The first reference was to a Purdue University resource about a different entity altogether (https://extension.purdue.edu/news/county/marion/2021/10/indy-food-access-advisory-commission.html). It did not cite Ordinance 337 that recognized the Coalition, nor did it include any history at all.

The section on "structure" needs to be updated according to the actual structure of the Coalition on their website. We also need to hyperlink to the group's website, which is currently in development.

The section on "purpose" is redundant and should be changed. IndyProgressive01 (talk) 00:46, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
