Brickyard Battalion[edit]

The Brickyard Battalion formed in 2011 while the team was announced in 2013. http://brickyardbattalion.com/history/ For over two years the team was trying to bring pro soccer back to Indy. That is why the awesome Indy Eleven staff included the checkers on the badge and the kit. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.230.12.252 (talk) 16:31, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That's great. I can point to a great many supports groups that have their own web page and not one of them is notable. They are only notable if someone else that is a reliable source writes extensively about them. See Vancouver Southsiders as an example. The supporters group I associate with has not had that sort of coverage and so they have no article and they have no mention in the team's article.
I have been removing the term from the article's colors section because the [1] does not support that the Brickyard Battalion was part of the reason for selecting them. It doesn't even support the "racing heritage", but that was added with the original reference. However, if you would like to remove that phrase, feel free to. If you have a source that supports the idea you're trying to add, you should supply it. Walter Görlitz (talk) 16:46, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
