Big problem with this article is that it isn't referenced. There's one reference (as an external link) and no inline citations or published works mentioned at all. Because of that, despite the reams of information available here, it can only be classed as a Stub. Some appropriate references would see this jump straight to C-class or better. --Peeky44 (talk) 22:02, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As more references have been added, I have increased it to start class. Its probably not quite C-class yet as more references are still needed. Editor5807speak 19:35, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Now more references have been added for most facts on the article, I think it is up to C-class. Editor5807speak 17:03, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"It has the largest electorate of a constituency, since 1983"

[edit]

I'm going to change this back to 1992. Based on this link the electorate of Milton Keynes before being split in two for the 1992 election was 103,239 voters. See also the boundary commission report, which states "The Milton Keynes constituency is the largest constituency in England (and the United Kingdom.)" NB: the current claim that IOW "has the largest electorate of a constituency, since 1983" besides being grammatically incorrect, is also unsourced. The erroneous 1983 claim was actually tagged for years (since December 2014) as needing a cite but the cite tag was removed (without providing a cite) by this edit 3 years later. Valenciano (talk) 19:19, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Fine, but you need to put a citation in the article; we can’t reference from the talk page. And ideally make some corresponding edit to the Milton Keynes constituency article as well. MapReader (talk) 20:44, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Easiest just saying that it was the largest constituency at the 2019 election. If people want to add in the "largest since year X" info, it's up to them to find a cite. Valenciano (talk) 21:06, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
