Orphaned talk pages[edit]

Hi, I noticed your message on MZM's talk page and I don't think the response you got was satisafctory. Have you resolved this issue yet? If this continue to be a problem I would suggest WP:AN as a possible place to discuss this. In my opinion G8 was not meant for these pages. Martin 16:30, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Railways on the Isle of Wight[edit]

Rail[edit]

Hi Peeky44. I am intending on a more descriptive, less misleading classification for Britain's railways. Please give your thoughts as to how we can improve the current classification at the railways template where you have been a contributor. Adam37 (talk) 15:23, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 31[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lausanne Metro, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 24 heures. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. ⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Logo metrolausanne1.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 19:10, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Disambiguation link notification for May 28[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited British Rail Class 483, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page South Western Railway (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Railways on the Isle of Wight you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. The article Railways on the Isle of Wight you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Railways on the Isle of Wight for issues which need to be addressed. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Amitchell125 -- Amitchell125 (talk) 12:00, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Peeky44 - hope you're OK, I notice that the article has not been edited by you since the first week of May 2020, and the issues I highlighted in the review have not yet started to be addressed. Just to let you know that the article will fail on June 21 if the issues remain unaddressed, which would be a shame considering the amount of work that has been done already to get it to GA. Amitchell125 (talk) 14:24, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The article Railways on the Isle of Wight you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Railways on the Isle of Wight for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article.
