Rework

[edit]

I removed some blatant and obvious POV pushing from the intro of this article and tried to make it flow a bit mroe instead of a list of her recordings. Comments welcome, more POV pushing is not.

Re "Never Let Me Go" -- too much detail , too trivial?

[edit]

Curiously, Monheit has recorded two songs both called "Never Let Me Go", one by Livingston and Evan on her debut album and another by Luther Dixon which is the title song from the 2010 movie of that name. The movie performance is (as the fictional "Judy Bridgewater") is already mentioned in the article.

In the movie version her vocals are backed by Sid Feller's arrangement from Lloyd Price's original 1960 recording. I didn't put all that in and I am not sure I should even have mentioned the song that's on her debut, so somebody may want to revert my add. Or not :-)

Or perhaps one of us should create an article for the Luther Dixon song, mentioning the Lloyd Price single with its Sid Feller arrangement that was reused in the 2010 movie! (source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi5fDa-YljE ) David Couch (talk) 05:00, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
