Only Jason Griffith
[edit]Its only Jason Griffith the guy listed at imdb.com is the wrong person. Checkout his myspace page instead.ShadowSL 00:14, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I thought we had a thing saying Mike Pollock had confirmed there wasn't an "Anthony" in his name? 86.143.157.188 14:00, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
So is the voice actor just "Jason Griffith" while the live action actor is "Jason Anthony Griffith?????"Trance88 (talk) 06:36, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Pokemon?
[edit]Why is this labelled as being under a pokemon project? The bio doesn't state anything about pokemon.
He had a major supporting voice in Movie 8.
The other side?
[edit]I noticed that so many of the articles for the new Sonic voice cast mention fans negative reaction to the recasting. Shouldn't the article state the other side of the opinion? I know many who REALLY don't like either of them, and others who (myself is included in this) feel that while Jason isn't all that great, he delivers a better performance than Ryan. I guess what I am saying is that this article displays him in such a negative light and should be more neutral. Just my two cents...Rogzilla 00:36, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
What I saw at first was mainly negative reactions toward Jason (but still a few positive, both-are-good opinions, and both-are-bad opinions), but it seems like fewer people care now. A typical response is one of the two neutral opinions, like "I don't think either one is great". I'm thinking that it's just a typical response- extremely negative at first, but then barely anyone cares- just like when the name of Nintendo's "Revolution" was changed to "Wii". So what should be done with the article? Right now, it only mentions the negative response. It could be changed slightly to mention that many fans were angered at Sega's decision to hire Jason, but that a few preferred his acting. And if it can be confirmed, I think it should also be mentioned that the gamers are in general caring less or going from negative to neutral. -Marth
Year of Birth
[edit]He was born in 1981 because his myspace says he's 25
Not anymore. It states he's 26 now, thus since his 26th birthday was in 2006, his birthdate must be in 1980. - 84.65.132.148 11:56, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
Picture
[edit]I noticed someone got rid of the picture of Jason that used to be here, should it still be on here? can someone put it back on?--Sonicobbsessed-The Self-Proclamed Ultamate Sonic Fan 23:39, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Sure thing. --Coconutfred73 00:54, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

NPOV
[edit]Seriously, read the Controversy part. In it's current state it should be removed IMO. 80.126.32.62 18:39, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
Yes. --Coconutfred73 20:03, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- No. In it's current state it should be left up until you can find evidence against it. Cotroversy DOES exist with his role as Sonic. You shouldn't need a source for that. Ask any Sonic fan who has played all or most of the games in the series. Or maybe we could take a poll.ThegreatWakkorati (talk) 13:38, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Controversity
[edit]Does that mean I can remove the controversity section?
- I would agree so. Unless a reliable source or verifiable source comes along, I would say so. I have only found lesser known blogs, fan sites, and user reviews that comment on this. The cite tag has been there since May 2007. I am removing the NPOV tag as well. Spryde 17:25, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- Adding on...
- All Wikipedia articles and other encyclopedic content must be written from a neutral point of view (NPOV), representing fairly and without bias all significant views (that have been published by reliable sources).
- NPOV says that the article should fairly represent all significant viewpoints that have been published by a reliable source.
Neither of these appear to be the case because of the lack of sources for this. And FYI, I have never played a Sonic game in my life so never knew about the actors in it. I just hit this article doing a random article run. Spryde 17:31, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- Why the sudden return of this disruptive section? Worlder (talk) 02:57, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Rayman?

Article stubbified
[edit]This is notification that I have stubbified this article for constant violations of our policy on biographies of living individuals, in particular, large unsourced section about controversy, three month old tags on the page relating to verifiability. Some of the older diffs aren't too nice either.. I request that all editors do not revert, but work to include verifiable material. Will (talk) 19:27, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Live action roles
[edit]Why have Jason's roles as a live actor been removed? He has had a few roles in live action, and I think that they should be included here. Nintendoman01 talk 09:45, 14 November 2008 Those live action roles are by a different Jason Griffith.
According to IMDB there are two people listed as Jason Anthony Griffith. One man is african american while the other is Caucasian. The African American Jason Griffith does the live action roles while the caucasian Jason Griffith is a voice actor.Trance88 (talk) 06:22, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, but this Jason Griffith has been in a few live action roles, like Am I Evil and Edge of Seventeen. The least we could do is list those. Nintendoman01 talk, 8:10, 23 January 2009 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.93.236.98 (talk)
Btw André Sogliuzzo Voices sideswipe in the Transformers film not jason griffith just letting you guys know because the film came out in the UK and jason wasnt in the creadits it was André Sogliuzzo as sideswipe. Kurokami: The Animation
[edit]it seems jason griffith's voice acting role as Keita Ibuki in Kurokami: The Animation (go to Black God (manga) is not listed on his voceacting roles, i would add it myself but for some reson wikipedia is not letting me edit the article (the edit tab is missing), so whoever can add it, please do so. --TheKillerRacoon (talk) 06:11, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Jason Adam Griffith
[edit]http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=owQGh2KWayQ
It seems his name's actually "Jason Adam Griffith" not "Jason Anthony Griffith". This video is an interview with Jason Griffith and he himself says that his name is "Jason Adam Griffith". ggctuk (2005) (talk) 18:32, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- I might suggest a move. We need a discussion before it actually happens though. ggctuk (2005) (talk) 20:27, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

- Unfortunately, I could not find any source pertaining to the name "Jason Anthony Griffith." As unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material must be removed immediately per WP:BLP, I am going to be bold and remove it. If you have concerns about this matter, please discuss it here. Jason Giffith's BTVA: Reliable or unreliable source
[edit]Ok, I've been getting some removals on Jason's BTVA page: [1] Big issue Now I'm not gonna say who it is exactly, but to anyone that saw the previous edit, then I think you know who did it, so let me just point out that this page is a use & reliable source of information, cause it follows the guidelines of Wikipedia's certain terms & conditions, It's Verifiable, and it shows Green check mark indicates roles that have been verified by BTVA through closing credits screenshots as such. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Norozco1 (talk • contribs) 20:47, November 26, 2016 (UTC)
- No need to be coy, it's me. If you would look at the bottom of the aforementioned site, you will see this - "This is an unofficial site." Unofficial. That means not a reliable source. It's as useful as a fan site or forum. So if you want to add the information back, feel free to do so. Just use a reliable source. Cheers. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Attract and Repel ‖ 06:00, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Also, you've been editting on Wikipedia since June 2014. So for the love of Cthulhu, please sign your own posts. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Inspector General ‖ 06:03, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- @Ebyabe: Ok, I will, and for the record, the rest of the voice actors like Yuri Lowenthal have BTVA Pages, and shows that it isn't unofficial website, it's an Official one, ok good buddy! ;) Norozco1 (talk) 07:34, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Where does it say it is official? Links to appropriate pages where it states such, please. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Welfare State ‖ 08:13, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- It doesn't, but it shows how all it's been active, it just became Official on it's own, they even made a facebook page after it:
Facebook page And I can go on and on have the website is official & reliable as well, and believe me, you literally want that, so me this soled, for the sake of wiki editor everywhere, and just let it go, ok bro! ;) Norozco1 (talk) 19:18, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Clarification has been received on what parts of the website are reliable, 'bro'. Cheers. --‖ Ebyabe talk - Repel All Boarders ‖ 19:29, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
- Good, then lets move on, shall we! :) Norozco1 (talk) 20:58, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
