According to herself, she was born in 1922, not 1925. Here's a direct quote from the book A Sci-Fi Swarm and Horror Horde: Interviews with 62 Filmmakers: "I was born December the 8th, 1922. I'll tell you the truth on everything, and I don't care who knows it".
Also, she states that her age was deliberately made younger because she didn't look her age. Therefore, I think we should go with the 1922 birth year instead of 1925. OscarLake (talk) 09:38, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
An entirely credible and superior source which fits in better with the biographical details, but the error in the other sources (which includes the AllMovie site as well as NNDB and IMDb) should be pointed out in a reference. Philip Cross (talk) 09:51, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
