ADHD claim

This claim has been on this article for a while with an other source, which apparently disappeared, and now it has been removed, even though the source had a date. I think that these sources are reliable and that this claim is obviously true; why do you keep removing it? Notes about the citations

Finetooth comments: This is a follow-up to the FAC suggestions about the sources, their reliability, and their consistency. Here are my comments on the first 12 citations, one by one. I have been working too hastily and did not check the citations closely during my peer review. My advice now would be to check each of the remaining citations for accuracy and reliability and to make sure each detail is complete and correct. It's a tedious job, and, unfortunately, not every question has a clear answer. The best you can do is to aim for perfect and hope to approach its vicinity.

• 1: Added the author and publisher, and I think this one is OK now.

• 2: I doubt that filmreference.com meets WP:RS. Who is the publisher?

• 3: I don't think this meets WP:V since the citation provides no way to verify the claim. The link provided is not an URL to a source; it's merely a link to another Wikipedia article. I think you could simply delete this citation since the claim is independently supported by citation 4 (sort of). Please see next comment.

• 4: The problem here is that the URL links only to an abstract of the article, and the abstract does not support the claim. If you can confirm that the complete article supports the claim, you can cite it, but you need to add "subscription required" to the citation. One way to do that is to use the |format parameter in the citation template and to fill it as "|format=Subscription required". The quotation added to the end of the citation needs end punctuation, probably a terminal period.

• 5: Added the author name and corrected the publisher name, and I think this one is OK now. Generally, the URL is not the same as the publisher. Often the publisher's name can be found at or near the bottom of the page if it does not appear at the top.

• 6: I'm not sure about the reliability of Yahoo Movies. Is it vetted by editors? Do fact-checkers comb it for errors?

• 7: Added the publisher and converted the ref to "cite news" to match the way the other citations in the article are formatted.

• 8: Added the publisher. I think this one is now OK.

• 9: I doubt that The Jennifer Connelly Center meets the WP:RS guidelines.

• 10: Added publisher; corrected publication name and moved to |work parameter slot (which adds italics automatically).

• 11: The Eric Gunrud site is personal blog and, as such, probably does not meet WP:RS.

• 12: The author listed in the existing citation is Patrick Barhham, but shouldn't it be Paul Fischer? I would list the work as iofilm and the publisher as insideout.co.uk ltd. The title, I think, should be American Beauty. Finetooth (talk) 18:47, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
