There is no summary by Bagumba for this edit. Why was the reversion made? Yet someone else wrote only a few hours before on a related article (see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mariano_Rivera&diff=next&oldid=1024521223, also most recently edited by Bagumba) "Now it reads like Trump is the highest civilian award in the US". Lacking any other rationale, this is on odd statement as well as an odd reason for a reversion. The added context was historically accurate (ie. noting the president at the time the award was made). Why would you remove that accurate context Bagumba? Please explain.— Preceding unsigned comment added by GeorgeSchiro (talk • contribs) 16:33, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@GeorgeSchiro: I believe you are referring to this edit, in which I left the edit summary of "details in body". Trump is mentioned in the body. Per MOS:INFOBOXPURPOSE: The less information it contains, the more effectively it serves that purpose, allowing readers to identify key facts at a glance. The most important fact is West receiving the award, not who bestowed it, and the details remain in the body. For the record, the inclusion of the president was reverted in other articles as well, suggesting there is not an obvious consensus for this in the infobox.—Bagumba (talk) 06:41, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
