Previous discussion from Geraldo Perez talk page

Why do you keep reverting my changes to Jet Jurgensmeyer? He specifically gave the information from a question and it is true according to him. Why can't you accept the fact that the source that I'm giving is legitimate and true? LocalContributor281 (talk) 15:58, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@LocalContributor281: Take this to WP:Reliable sources/Noticeboard and follow the process there to get that source for that information evaluated by others if you want more opinions. Or start a discussion on the article talk page to gain consensus to include it. In general Famous Birthday is not a reliable source for anything and that is the channel being linked to. Can't trust what they post as being true and accurate - he does not control the final edit or content like he would on any verified social media account he may have. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:05, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I just asked a comment to him about confirming the information to be true. The message is still pending, but when it is complete, I will bring back my changes and cite the link. LocalContributor281 (talk) 16:07, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@LocalContributor281: Any reference used, and that would be one, must be verifiable by others. If he wishes to make a direct unambiguous statement of facts about himself on an outlet proven to either be controlled by him or in some other source that meets our reliable source requirements that would meet the requirements of WP:ABOUTSELF. If he has a verified social media account of his own that would be best. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:20, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
On the website tab named bio, there is a link to his YouTube channel which redirects to the one that I referenced earlier where he stated his birthday. The video is listed as 20 Q&A with Jet Jurgensmeyer. LocalContributor281 (talk) 16:22, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@LocalContributor281: He has two verified social media accounts and an official site linked from them as proof he owns it. A direct statement on any of them would meet WP:ABOUTSELF. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:35, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

According to his official YouTube cannel, he confirms that his full name is Joseph Jet Jurgensmeyer and that he was born on November 27, 2004. Why do you believe that this is false and deny any of my changes when it literally comes from his own words? LocalContributor281 (talk) 16:02, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find that statement on his YouTube channel which is also not a verified social media account of his. See nothing in his verified accounts or his official site where is he free to make factual statements about himself that meet WP:ABOUTSELF. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:06, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@LocalContributor281:@Geraldo Perez:Hi, I'm LORDZRAWN (I tend to be more active on eswiki), I found this source, which is an interview conducted by a medium with the author in which he reveals his name, date of birth and other things. LORDZRAWN Talk? 17:28, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
He didn't reveal his full birthdate, just the day and month, not the year. Pointless without out that. A dated article stating his age could complete the data though. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:43, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Geraldo Perez:How about this? It's a publication of his official Instagram from last year made on November 27, 2019, where he writes that he turns 15 on that day. LORDZRAWN Talk? 18:19, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That and the other source you gave should be sufficient. Instagram meets WP:ABOUTSELF and is a verified account. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:27, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Geraldo Perez: The name Joseph appears in the video, specifically the first time it's said is in the second 18. LORDZRAWN Talk? 18:58, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The details of how to find the information needs to be in the cite. I'm not expecting to search a video when there is a transcript in the article. Geraldo Perez (talk) 19:14, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
