Birthplace Discrepancy[edit]

The article states that Jimmie Lunceford's birthplace is Fulton, Missouri (abbreviation: MO). The swingmusic.net bio says Fulton, Mississippi (abbreviation: MS). I did a Google search and found a fairly equal split between the two states.
