– no clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC per page views [1] Joeykai (talk) 14:13, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support the businessman gets 4,797 views compared with only 1,608 for the television presenter and the footballer gets 141. Crouch, Swale (talk) 20:59, 2 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. No clear primary topic in this case. Station1 (talk) 03:59, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. In terms of long-term significance, the TV presenter is certainly the primary topic. Anyone of a certain age in the UK will without doubt remember him. He was a British TV icon. Rich as he may be, who's heard of the businessman with the very short article? -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:00, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Page move[edit]

It is indeed incredible that one of Britain's favourite TV personalities, known to millions over decades, does not take precedence over an obscure businessman! Can this move be discussed again? Billsmith60 (talk) 20:03, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It can be. It's been over a year since the previous discussion, so you could propose a new move using the procedure at WP:RM#CM. I doubt you will get consensus for a move, though, since the presenter gets fewer than a quarter of the pageviews for the four people named Johnny Morris. The businessman is not that obscure. Station1 (talk) 06:54, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
While most British people over 40 will feel that this move was absolutely bonkers, Morris the TV presenter will be relatively unknown outside the UK. The businessman will be better known in the US, and sports fans will feel the various JM sporting figures are equally if not more ímportant. A disambig page is the fairest solution overall. --Ef80 (talk) 13:57, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
