Never heard of him. Is he known in India? If not, this should be VfD... Rfredian 19:12, 14 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

He's arguably the most famous player ever to play in India Spiderone (talk) 15:25, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality

[edit]

This is a very good article but it contains a number of unsourced opinions and shows that the writers like the player. RobbieG 10:08, 2 August 2006 (UTC) As a Brazilian, I corrected the name of his birth city, probably that is "Porto Alegre", instead o "Alegre". I also never heard about him, but is it good to know that there are Brazilian football players sucessful even in a country most of the people prefer cricket. I don't think Barreto would come back to Brazil, considering all his fame in India. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.96.235.223 (talk) 00:29, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request
