Rat's brain / the lashley maze

[edit]

It is still not clear that Lashley's experiments were exclusively with rats. I've mentioned this in the opening paragraph but there could be more detail about the maze running experiments. ----Action potential discuss contribs 00:48, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Penfield - human subjects

[edit]

We should probably also put something about his Penfield (in human subjects). e.g. electrical stimulation in human cortex. ----Action potential discuss contribs 00:49, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello all! Upon my viewing of the Karl Lashley page I noticed that it was a little under developed. I plan on adding things such as education, influences, honors, 2 of his principles and his contributions. Do you all think they would be good things to further expand on? Hello all its me again, Im about to make changes to this page and wanted to know if you had any suggestions before I do so? (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 09:14, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello all! I decided to add additional information that I had found while researching to the Karl Lashley page. In addition, I also made a couple of edits. Could someone tell me if they think the changes were fair and helped to improve the overall quality of the previous page (Scolema7 (talk) 16:29, 28 November 2013 (UTC)Scolema7Scolema7 (talk) 16:29, 28 November 2013 (UTC))[reply]

We appreciate your additions. I've cleaned up some of it, just to keep the language in the style we would find in any other encyclopedia. I would avoid vague statements ("it has been said" - who said it?) or statements of opinion (anything with "great", "extremely", "very" or any other non-neutral adjective - unless you're quoting someone). Also, after the very first time that Lashley's full name is mentioned, just refer to him as Lashley rather than by his full name. You also want to start a new section on this page when you open a new topic for discussion. (Right now it looks like we're discussing "Penfield - human subjects". Thanks for your work. Thank you so much for your help! Your edits and comments were very helpful, thanks again.(Scolema7 —Preceding undated comment added 06:24, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Citation help

[edit]

I am editing this in connection with another assignment I am doing on an equipotentiality page. I am having trouble getting the citation to work. I want to use the source number 8 (the one that starts with Beach on the Karl Lashley Wiki). There is a quote in the first paragraph that I am trying to cite with that source. Can someone help me with this? ThanksMaryG6279 (talk) 20:07, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was going to add it in for you, but I don't see any quotes on the equipotentiality page. See WP:REFB for a good overview of basic citation information. Give me a shout if I can help. EricEnfermero HOWDY! 11:07, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
