GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
    Some comments:
    • Remember to state the country that the stadium is in. The vast majority of English-speakers know neither where Bedfordshire nor Luton is. The flagicon serves no encyclopedic purpose, and is only for decoration. I have therefore removed it.
    • The article has several weasel words, for instance "luckily", which is highly biased (one person's luck is another person's bane). Other terms are "mysterious fire" (I presume the cause was not found, if so, state it). The whole sentence containing "darkest days" adds no encyclopedic value. "six long years": what in all of earth is a long year? "The fact that the club wish to relocate cannot be questioned – in fact," contains so much wealeling that I don't know where to start. "the fact" and "in fact" should be avoided. Instead of making a negative, just state the facts: "The club wishes to relocate, and have been looking for a new ground since 1955". Do not use terms like "for over fifty years", because content on Wikipedia is often copied to other pages, which are then not updated, perhaps for many, many years.
    • Capitalize section headers as prose, not as titles.
    • Check out WP:Italics. Nicknames are not to be in italics. Also, avoid quotes in italics (use quotation marks) and avoid the "…", instead use "..." (three seperate periods).
    • The ownership section is very short, and I would have included it to the history section.
    • Do not use "currently"; instead use, "as of 2009".
    • How much is "extensively"? Try to be more accurate. Does it feature the majority of games, does it, in average, feature one game a year? If no mach has been played since 2001, a better word would be "occationally".
    • Do not wikilink dates (this used to be the rule, but it has now changed).
    • Are there buses to the venue? If so, state it (and include the operator, though not necessarilly the routes).
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
    • When using in-line citations to works in the general reference section, author, year and page no. are sufficient.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
    • Do not force image sizes
    • Do not make panoramas wider than 550px
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
This looks pretty good. There are only a few minor issues needed to be fixed before the article received good status. Arsenikk (talk) 11:08, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
All good. Congratulations with a good article! Arsenikk (talk) 16:15, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
