Is it worth mentioning the TV commercials?[edit]

I know Lance did a series of TV commercials for VISA card, in the style of the TV series Millennium. I saw a few in July 2005, Brisbane. blucat 198.142.12.121 17:18, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

LOL. Added it, including this link: http://yeahthatcommercial.com/video.php?id=811

"Killed by a xenomorph"?[edit]

"As of this film Henriksen has the unusual distinction of playing characters that have been killed by three of cinemas most famous movie monsters; a Xenomorph (Aliens) the Terminator and a Predator."

Could you really say the character "Bishop" was "Killed" in Aliens? He got ripped in half but wasn't dead and was placed in the cryo sleep pods with the rest of them at the end.70.189.213.149 (talk) 17:33, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's also debatable if he was killed by a Terminator as well. A deleted scene in T2 states that he survived. 2603:6080:5D00:2562:25F9:8413:5686:472A (talk) 10:53, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Current picture[edit]

Is the current picture correct? To quote Achmed... "It looks nothing like the guy!"Cwattengard (talk) 08:32, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sculptor?[edit]

This month's US Airways magazine features a Henriksen interview wherein he discusses his longtime passion for sculpting, and notably a museum or two where his works are featured. If I can find a corroborating source, I'll put it up here. Sskoog (talk) 04:49, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

His pottery was once featured on the now-defunct website http://www.bylancehenriksen.com/, and available for purchase. Pieces were engraved with his signature and came with certificates of authenticity featuring his photo. Unfortunately Wayback has nothing, thanks to everyone's favorite history-eraser, robots.txt. 64.170.149.61 (talk) 04:29, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

daughter[edit]

He has a daughter, Monique. I went to high school with her up in Maine. She's 44 now.

"daugther"... High School, really?

Movie Legend was Born?[edit]

What the hell is with the wording of that stupid Arnold mention? This is about Lance, and that sort of flamboyance would be inappropriate even in an article about Arnie. It wasn't even his first famous role. I'm taking it out entirely. The idiot didn't even capitalize Arnold. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.42.204.54 (talk) 20:15, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pokemon film[edit]

Removed the pokemon film as his official site, nor IMDB nor the movie's IMDB list him as a voice actor in the film. IF this is disproven it can be re-added, but so far it appears unlikely 64.223.175.39 (talk) 01:50, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

He really left home and school at 12? and didn't read till 30[edit]

Wow, really? this isn't a hoax? that is just amazing.

BespokeFM (talk) 03:08, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Something is off, I think. According to the article he served in the navy from the ages of 15-18. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.152.83.90 (talk) 17:15, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Navy wouldn't take illiterates and it would be damned hard to be an actor and study scripts since 1961, if you didn't learn to read until 1970. This questionable crap should go - better too little info than garbage info. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.215.151.212 (talk) 11:02, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Filmography: It's in the Blood[edit]

Just saw this at the Lovecraft Film Festival. Don't know the specifics on date & all... Let's see if IMDB has it:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2072134/

Yep. 2012. Lance Henriksen is one of the two main characters in this Lovecraftian monster flick.

IMDB lists his character as Russell. Don't know whether his character is still Sheriff or not, maybe not. Used to be...

Worth adding. Was at least decent. :)

The Outsiders[edit]

'The Outsiders' (1961) is listed in his filmography, but this is apparently erroneous according to his interview with the A.V. Club (http://www.avclub.com/article/lance-henriksen-millennium-close-encounters-and-wh-256957). I've not removed the information is as I don't know the history (whether it's a major unsubstantiated belief) or whether the source given for his non-appearance is satisfactory for removing information. 2A02:1811:B605:4E00:BDA4:8425:7E0B:32B8 (talk) 21:19, 24 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
