Image copyright problem with Image:Hawker Tempest VI NX135 Langley 1945.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Hawker Tempest VI NX135 Langley 1945.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Langley Park and Langley Hall[edit]

There is confusion between these two, which are some distance apart. Would someone with more detailed knowledge than I have like to tidy this up? I was born in Langley, but no longer live there. LynwoodF (talk) 19:11, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have now put the two buildings into separate paragraphs. Looking at the article, I think it needs more structure. Perhaps I shall do something about this, if I have time. LynwoodF (talk) 18:21, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have now added some section headings and expanded the text a little. LynwoodF (talk) 18:05, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As I understand it, Milton did not ever live in Langley. The tradition I learnt as a child was that, when he lived at Horton in the 1630s, he would walk across to Langley to make use of the Kedermister Library. Does anyone out there know of any clear reference to this? Maxwell Fraser is as vague about this as I am. LynwoodF (talk) 20:14, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
