I believe that Larry Crabb is one of the foremost proponents of imeshing the world with the Church. He has promoted bringing the world into the church thus making the "Bride of Christ" unpure. ₠ —Preceding unsigned comment added by Franklin777 (talkcontribs) 15:50, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He is not promoting meshing the world with the church. He specifically argues against man-based psychology in his book Inside Out. Crabb challenges us to dig deeper into what is driving sin in each of our lives. This may sound similar to, but is most definitely not Freudian. "Similar" (in an extremely superficial way) is not "same as." Sometimes Christian give pat answers to struggles with sin. Crabb suggests that sometimes the obvious sin is driven by a deeper sin. We may not want to confess this other sin to another person. We protect ourselves. Sometimes we are blind to a specific sin that relates to another sin. As a church we need to function in a way that we can expose our sins to God and each other in a way that the community can grow. When we understand how deeply sinful our flesh is, we can grow in understanding on how great the Cross is. I would suggest reading his books first before you dismiss him. In a perfect world, Jay Adams and Larry Crabb would collaborate. Then again, in a perfect world none of us would need counseling.Jeffgus (talk) 22:49, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
